    Reconditioning will only commence on Receipt of Deposit

 Invoices raised without a Deposit will not guarantee the goods and will be void if the Deposit is not received within 48 hours of date of invoice and goods will be returned to stock for re-sale. 

Payments and Deposits are non-refundable - Credits may be held.

1.5% Surcharge Applies to Credit Card Transactions

The Issuing of a Purchase Order does not necessarily constitute a sale or guarantee the goods unless accompanied by the required Deposit or Payment.

Complete shop and kitchen fit-outs and refurbishments are subject to progressive payments as set out by Kontact Catering Equipment.       

 Goods may be exchanged prior to collection only and at the discretion of Kontact Catering Equipment.

 Kontact Catering Equipment reserves the right to reject the exchange or return of Goods due to an ill   informed choice or purchasers' changed circumstances. Goods may be re-stocked and re-sold at the discretion of Kontact Catering Equipment and will incur a 20% Re-Stocking Fee. Goods not re-sold after a specified time as set out by Kontact Catering Equipment remain the property of the purchaser and must be collected.

Kontact Catering Equipment reserves the right to dispose of or to on-sell Goods that have not been collected after 12 months from date of purchase and after all reasonable attempts have been made to contact the purchaser. 

Installation is the responsibility of the Purchaser and is not included. Equipment must be installed and connected by an authorized person or company

Delivery is the responsibility of the Purchaser and is not included.

Freight & Transport costs or arrangements are the responsibility of the Purchaser and is not included.

Recommended or suggested transport or courier services are in no way associated with Kontact Catering Equipment, therefore Kontact Catering Equipment takes no responsibility for goods in Transit. 

Insurance is the responsibility of the Purchaser and is not included.

All goods remain the property of  Kontact Catering Equipment until all accounts held by Client are Paid In Full

Methods and Conditions of application and use of the goods supplied including installation are beyond the control of Kontact Catering Equipment and therefore Kontact Catering Equipment reserves the right to reject any claim and does not accept liability or responsibility due to misuse, negligence, modifications or changes to the equipment, incorrect installation or installation by an unauthorized person, persons or company. Information and advice given is done so as a guide only. It is the responsibility of the Purchaser to seek independent or professional advice.

Where no safety devices are fitted to the equipment it is the absolute responsibility of the purchaser to have these devices fitted or to make all necessary arrangements and inquiries as to whether safety devices are required on such equipment in order to comply with the relevant Health and Safety Regulations.

      30 days Parts Only Warranty applies (see exclusions) from date of Invoice - during normal working hours   ie. 8am to 5pm weekdays 

NEW EQUIPMENT  -  Factory Warranty Applies

CONSIGNMENT STOCK  -  No Warranty Applies  

Small items are to be returned to Kontact Catering Equipment for repair at customers' own expense.

 Faulty parts are to be returned to Kontact Catering Equipment at customers' own expense.

Replacement parts are to be acquired through Kontact Catering Equipment and will be equivalent to those deemed faulty. Repair or service work by any other agent or company must be authorized in writing by Kontact Catering Equipment. Kontact Catering Equipment will not reimburse the customer or accept any responsibility if the customer purchases parts new or purchases parts or services through any other agent or company.

Warranty on stored or uncollected Goods will be void within 3 months of date of purchase

RECONDITIONED - to restore to good condition or working order

EQUIVALENT - equal in value, quantity or significance. Having the same or similar effect.

Exclusions - Electrical motors, compressors, glass, globes and heat lamps are not included and should be covered under customers' own insurance.
